Fine Motor   We will be working on developing hand skills including grasp, release, two hands working together in a cooperative way and manipulation skills to encourage development of fine motor skills   (e.g. staking 7+ blocks, turning single pages, turning (single pages/objects), threading, holding a pencil in their preferred hand with an improved pencil grasp and imitating a vertical line, horizontal line and circle shape.)

Communication   An understanding of location concepts is important for your child to be able to follow instructions. During this program we will focus on the location concepts: in, on and under. We will also introduce emotion vocabulary and discuss strategies you can use at home to help build your child's emotional vocabulary.

Gross Motor   We focus on progressing and consolidating your child's early gross motor skills such as running, jumping (two feet together), climbing stairs (2 feet per step), throwing, kicking & beginning catch a ball & we also continue to help them develop balance and body/spatial awareness and motor planning skills (the ability to mentally plan a sequence of actions or movements.
